  1. Tungsten is a hard, heavy, grey-white, 
  2. metallic element, with a symbol W, an atomic 
  3. number of 74, and a relative atomic mass 
  4. number of 183.85. It occurs in the minerals 
  5. wolframite, scheelite, and hubertite. It has 
  6. the highest melting point of any metal, 
  7. 6,170°F (3,410°C) and is added to steel to 
  8. make it harder, stronger, and more elastic.
